Today
Wow, this was a loooong day.
I woke up, ate breakfast and posted that silly thing about grey hair. By the way- I did buy hair dye and sometime this weekend my hair will be purple, ok really it'll be burgundy. Then Angie called, she wanted help, needed me to go shopping with her. I couldn't refuse, she needed me. So we left here around 12:30 ish. We went to Fashion Bug and they had this awesome panty sale, so even though I swore up and down that I would NOT buy anymore underwear this month I bought 7 pairs, but hey they averaged out to like 2 dollars a piece (how could I possibly pass that up??). I also bought Caitie this really cute pink shirt- she loves pink. Then we went to this thrift store, I bought a jacket, I don't need a jacket, I don't think it totally fits right, but it is so cool and I can alter it. Then we went to the mall.
The mall.
I don't DO malls. There are so many stores, so much walking, and once I get in there it's hard to leave :) But we only went to one actual store. We had pretzels and roasted candied almonds and pecans, and then went into the shop.
We start looking around and Ang finds a couple of things to try on, then I turn around and "WHOA!" I saw a friend I haven't seen in a long time. It was so cool. She works there, I had been in there I don't know how many times in the past six months and she was never in there, I started to think she had changed jobs or something, but there she was! So, we exchanged numbers, she helped Angie pick out some pants, and I promised I would call. I hope I remember to call. I really don't like it when I have to call someone, I always forget until it's really late. Or I feel like I have to have a reason to call other than to just b/s a bit. I try to make up excuses to call certain people, takes me a really long time though so some people have to wait months for me to call them. :)
Oh I am totally off subject. Anyways, so Angie buys the slacks, we leave the mall, and get back to her house 15 minutes late. I only got to rest like 10 minutes before my mom was ready to leave for our regular shopping trip. "Why would you still want to go shopping after all that oh beauteous one?" you might say. "Well, hon, I haven't been shopping in about a month. I am almost out of many things that you can not get at clothing stores." would be my reply. :) So, then we hop back into the car, go to the bread store and then pick up Melissa, go to several stores for about 5 minutes each, then wind up at Wal-mart. I hate Wal-mart. I spend way too much money in there. But, they didn't have any "must-have" fabrics, so I didn't really spend anything on hobbies. They had these really cute shoes, I really wanted those shoes. Those shoes did not fit me. :( I looked all over for some my size, even looked for slightly smaller than my size, to no avail. I some times don't particularly like my shoe size, I like my feet, I think they are really cute, but it's so hard to find cute size 10 shoes, the ones they had were 10 1/2 and kept falling off a bit as I walked, I can wear a 9 1/2 but they didn't have that size either. Too many people must have agreed with me that those were really cute shoes. So, anyways, since I didn't get any shoes, I decided to look at pillows, I bought 2, but they aren't quite what I was looking for. :) I spent the night at this friend's house a couple of months ago, and he has the softest, poofiest, best pillow ever. I want that pillow. I really want that pillow. It was shortly after my accident and my stitches hadn't even been removed yet, and he called me up afterwards and was all "You bled on my pillows!" I know this is weird, but I so wanted to say "YAY!" I offered to buy it from him, but he said "NO." (WHAT!?! WHAT?) He loves that pillow too. He doesn't want to give it up, I could not talk him into it no matter how I tried. He was all "Naw, really it's just a little spot, it's hardly noticeable." Umm...o k ... So you can understand this is one great pillow, for him to not even care that my face bled on it . So, I asked him where he bought it. He doesn't know! NOOOOOOOOO! I want that pillow. I want one exactly like that. It was like sleeping on a cloud or a marshmallow it was great.
I know I go on and on about a pillow. "Why?" umm.. it's after 4am and I spent almost 12 hours shopping, my legs and feet are aching and keeping me awake- that's why. ;)
