Ok, let's see... I was a dummy and couldn't use my comp for days so this is what has happened since last Friday.
I was sick, I have a cold and some weird allergic reaction. I meant to go to the doctor for it but ended up going to a haunted house instead. :D It was fun, I hadn't been to one in many many years, and the ones I had been to before were small and not very scary. This one was scary. Not too bad though, but my heart was racing. It was called The Cavern Of Terror, it was in a cave :D . It could have been better, but it's their first year and they had only been open for 3 days. I bought a little strobe light bat from their gift shop- he's so cute. Hey, did I mention on here that I collect bats? I have two beanie baby bats, one finger puppet, some glass marble like bats, pieces of bats (I make stuffed bats, but don't have a finished one right now- people keep taking them :( ), and now I have my strobe light bat. :D Wait, that wasn't the point.. :) I went there with Tonya and John, it took us forever to find out where the place was, but it was worth it.
I went to the bar with Angie on Saturday. A lot of people we know were there, it was fun, except my knees were killing me :( so I couldn't dance very long. I don't know why my knees have been hurting so much lately, I blame it on my shoes, but I've been wearing them for months with no problems at all. We ended up staying over at Wes's house, I had a really cool conversation about dreams and tarot.
My cousin Jennifer had a baby boy, seven pounds seven ounces, they named him Thomas, after his dad. My cousin Nicole hasn't had her baby yet, but should any day now, also going to be a boy, also being named after his father.
I was bored and had no canvas and no way to get anymore and Angie said I should draw. I was like "Yeah right, everytime I try to draw anything it looks like S**T, and people end up looking like 'Peanuts' characters. " Then my mom started moving things in and I had to clean out the back bedroom and ran across my sketch book. Once I was too tired to move anything else and not yet tired enough to go to bed I started looking at my sketch book, giving it these hesitant sideways glances, I didn't think it would be a good idea for me to try to draw... Well, I eventually picked it up, grabbed a pencil and decided I wasn't going to draw anything specific, just practice drawing eyes, I intended to fill one page with eyes until I got it right. Well, I don't have a page filled with eyes, I have about ten pictures. They are all women, one is my sister, I like them all. I was amazed. I was like "I can not even believe *I* drew something I like and it's not a Peanut's character. " :D
I bought a bunch of canvas , more paint, charcoal, new sketch book, brushes, graphite pencils, etc. tonight. YAY! YAY! YAY! I spent way too much, but hopefully this stuff will last the month. I seriously doubt it though.
Let's see what else....? Um... Saturday was bad. Then Wes, Angie and I went to Waffle House and later we went to Wes's place. It was cool. We drank, talked, then everyone went to sleep and I laid down on the couch.
