Why I sigh

Personal junk, things I think are funny, sad stuff, happy stuff, just my life as I see it + lots of dreams. (Disclaimer- Not everything that appears in this blog is 100% accurate.)

Geoffrey

Ok, now I'm thinking about how I miss Geoffrey, and how I found out that Marc had moved.
I had had a cold, it was late winter/early spring, I think, and there was a bug going around. I didn't want to give it to Geoffrey. We had just recently found out that he has Cystic Fibrosis, and I was afraid to have him catch that particular cold. I was still talking to Marc's wife though, and she agreed that it wouldn't be a good idea for him to catch it, and I think she was more worried about her daughter catching the cold... Anyway, I suddenly started having problems getting ahold of them. Every time I called I got a machine or a busy signal. I think I went for like a week or so without calling, then the phone was shut off. I was like "Um, What?". I had this sinking feeling in the pit of my stomach , but I still tried to tell myself that maybe they just had a problem with the phone or something. I waited and tried again. Then I found out that they had moved.
I was crushed.
The sinking feeling got worse and worse. I didn't know where my son was. And at the time there was this commercial on like all the time "It's ten o'clock, do you know where your kids are?" or something like that. It was depressing.
It was months before I even found out where he was....
